• Bookings are Saturday to Saturday in high season; other start/end dates may be available on request at other times.
• Gîte must be vacated by 10.30 am on the agreed leaving day.
• Gîte can be occupied from 4.00pm on the agreed arrival day.
• Prices include gas, water and electricity during the May to September season, outside that, heating will be charged for according to metered use.
• Payment must be made in two parts - 50% on booking (non-refundable); the second 50% plus a security deposit of £100 must be paid at least ten days prior to the start date of the booking. No credits cards are accepted.
• Bed linen and towels are provided within prices quoted and changed weekly. 
• Unfortunately we are not usually able to accept pets, the properties being unsuitable (set in 90 acres of open farmland & woods). In any event, pets will only be admitted with our prior approval in writing.

  If pets are accepted by us an additional 500 Euros security deposit is payable in cash on arrival for each pet accompanying the party. An additional rental charge of 50 Euros per night per pet will also be charged. For any pet admitted a vaccination certificate must be produced to  demonstrate that the pet is inoculated against parvo, kennel cough and rabies. The owner is responsible at all times for the behaviour of the pet and for any mess or damage, inside or outside the properties, caused by any pet.

Chambre d'Hôte Bookings:

• The Manoir has a strict no-smoking policy
• Rooms are priced from 68 -73 Euros per night.
• A deposit will be payable for all reservations.
• We do not accept credit cards - payment in Euros should be in cash or by cheque drawn on a French bank. Payments in Sterling by prior arrangement.
• Reserved rooms will be held until 19.00 hrs unless arrangements for late arrival have been made.
• No pets are allowed in the Manoir
• Taxe de Sejour is payable from June to Sept. to the French Government - in 2010 it was 0.5 Euros per person per night. Children under 13 are exempt in 2011. The appropriate amount for 2011 will be added to your bill.
• All rooms are for two persons maximum.

Estate Facilities:

The pool and tennis court at La Betoulle are for the exclusive use of our guests.  If you have friends staying nearby we would request that you limit invitations to a maximum of 2 people at any one time by prior arrangement.  Due to the new pool safety legislation we have to restrict access to the pool to children who are resident only.

The pool is normally open for use from the end of May to mid September depending upon the weather.

Tennis racquets and balls and some bicycles are available for hire for a nominal fee - please ask for details.

Legal Status, VAT, etc.

• We are a registered business in France - Siret No. 481 745 115 00018
• For VAT (TVA) purposes, we are a Micro Regime and no VAT is levied.
• Taxe de Sejour is payable in accordance with French Law during June to Sept.
• We strongly recommend that you arrange for European Health Cover during your stay and have comprehensive travel insurance.
