The four elegantly decorated guest rooms are all furnished in antique French styles, each different from any other. Hortensia, Tournesol, Magnolia & Lotus Rooms are all individual rooms with private bathrooms, separate WCs, entries with fitted wardrobes, access to a vast covered terrace with outdoor seating, and all have luxurious linens. Rooms are equipped with hairdryers, alarm clocks, bathroom toiletries, cooling fans for the long, hot summer days & an under floor heating system for the cooler months. Ironing facility available. When booked in combination with one or more gites, the facilities make an ideal way of accommodating an extended family for holidays or special occasions.

Each day we offer a Breakfast selection of fresh fruit, juice, cereals and yogurts, bread & croissants from the local bakery with a delicious range of home made jams, La Betoulle honey & a choice of tea, coffee or hot chocolate. In addition there is a freshly cooked entrée which varies daily with the season – in summer it could be a dish of lightly spiced, baked soft fruit accompanied by a baked egg custard, a tropical fruit platter or freshly-picked figs baked in honey……..in the autumnal months it could be New England-style baked apples or Pear crumble flavoured with Maple Syrup…. Most days there will also be home-baked muffins/fruit cake/gingerbread – every morning is a surprise………. Special diets can be catered for.

The manoir is located in 90 acres of unspoilt countryside and 300 year old woodland and is a haven for ramblers and birdwatchers. Wild deer can be seen in the woods and cowslips line the pathways in springtime.The energetic can swim in the huge roman tiled pool or play tennis on the hard court while those in search of relaxation can recline in comfort soaking up the warm Charente sun. Further afield, you are welcome to cycle or stroll around the 90 acre estate.....
